The Per-Person Method
- Standing reception: 0.5-0.7 sq m per guest.
- Seated dinner: 1.1-1.4 sq m per guest.
- Add named blocks: bar, buffet, DJ, dance floor each takes a stated area.
- Total the floor, then check the span.
- Check eave height: 2.5-3.0 m on larger spans for linings and rigs.
